What is an AWB Number?

AWB stands for Air Waybill. It is a unique tracking number assigned to every courier shipment. Whether sent via India Post, DTDC, Delhivery or Blue Dart, each shipment gets a unique AWB number to track its location and delivery status.

AWB numbers are also called Consignment Number, Tracking Number, Shipment ID or Waybill Number depending on the courier company.

When your order ships, the courier sends an SMS with your tracking number.

Order Confirmation Email

Check your shipping notification email from the seller.

Shopping App or Website

In Amazon, Flipkart or Meesho, go to My Orders and click Track to find your AWB.

Courier Fraud Alert

  • Fake delivery SMS: Fraudsters claim your package is held and ask you to pay a fee. Legitimate couriers never ask for payment via links.
  • Fake tracking websites: Some sites collect your personal info. Always use official courier websites or trusted platforms.
  • Phishing calls: No courier will ask for OTP or bank details over a call. Hang up immediately.
